Mission Statement:  Focus on improving involvement of church members; including but not limited to, members of the church who have been absent for an extended amount of time, elderly shut-ins, etc. over the next year as it is our belief to “not fan the flames of despair, but ignite the spark of hope instead” by cherishing all relationships within our church family. We will accomplish this by making contacting using various methods (mail, in-person, emails, phone calls, etc.) to update them on the current affairs of our church, ways to get involved, and most importantly, bring to mind that their presence is meaningful.

Sunday Greeters and Guest Information

Do you want to make our guests feel welcome? We have an opportunity for you to serve on rotation on Sunday mornings before Sunday School & before and after the Morning Worship Service. To assist you in this, there is a Sunday School brochure and signs are on the class doors or wall outside the room.
The Guest Information area is located at the top of the stairs where newcomers can receive a gift and church information on their initial visit to JFBC.
See Martha Butts if you would like to sign up to be on F.I.T.

A 2-Day Event to Feast on God’s Word

Jesus often taught through stories, and many times He taught as people gathered around a table or meal. Imagine sitting around that ancient table filled with a feast, hearing stories come to life.
While we can’t go back to sit at that table, there is a table we are invited to. Join Kristi McLelland at Feast—an event where we gather to feast upon God’s Word. This is a journey that’s more than an event—it’s an experience to taste and see the goodness of God that has nourished souls for generations. Come and take your seat at the table.

At Feast you’ll experience:

Scripture rich teaching from Kristi McLelland, studying God’s Word in its historical and cultural context
    • Worship with Laura Cooksey

    • A new perspective of stories of Jesus to cultivate
an increased appetite and curiosity for the Bible
    • Opportunities to connect with women who are hungry to see the Bible with fresh eyes
